This can be combined as part of your peri-operative weight loss journey. Semaglutide injections should be stopped at least one week before and after your surgery.

Semaglutide medication (Skinny Shot treatment) can be done in preparation for your aesthetic procedure. If your BMI is over 35 and you are planning to have a breast reduction or a tummy tuck procedure, you can take the skinny shot prior surgery to reduce your BMI in order to minimize your risk for complications after surgery.
The Skinny Shot is also ideal to be taken after a liposuction or tummy tuck procedure to maintain the results of your body contouring surgery.
